Kathleen Gregory

June 26, 1944 — November 6, 2020

Kathleen Gregory

Kathleen P. Gregory, of Clarks Summit, PA, passed away after her battle with metastatic cancer at age 76, at home, surrounded by family.  She breathed her last on November 6, 2020 shortly after 6:30am with her husband by her side.  She was born June 26, 1944, in Watertown, NY.

She is predeceased by her parents Herbert and Phyllis Pond.  Kathleen is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Richard Gregory; four sons: Richard Jr., and his wife, Laura; Bryan, and his wife, Kim; Eric, and his wife, Amy; and Clint.  She has ten grandchildren: Jonathan, and his wife, Jenna; Dylan; Jade; Tim, and his wife, Hannah; Jesse; Katherine, and her husband, Steven; Eva; Davonna; Gabriella; and Christopher.  She also has two great-grandchildren: Calvin and Ezra, and one great-grand-daughter on the way.

Kathleen was the second of ten children: David, Gary, Forest, Doug, Rick, Clem, Sharon, Paul, and Allen.  As one who valued education, she graduated from Harpursville Central High School, Harpursville, NY in 1963.  She went on to study later in life, taking courses at Practical Bible College, Johnson City, NY; Tennessee Temple University; and Bob Jones University.

The passions of her life were the gospel of Jesus Christ, her family, and ministry to children and the aged.  She wanted everyone to know the Lord Who saved her from her sins, and to know that they too had assurance of eternal life in heaven.  She was proud of her role as a wife and stay-at-home mother.  And yet her life touched the lives of many through her volunteer work with children in her Good News Bible Clubs, Mailbox Clubs, transporting neighborhood children to Sunday School programs, and visiting the infirmed in hospitals and nursing homes in every state where she resided (NY, PA, CT, TX, & GA).   Her husband and family thank God for her well-lived life, will miss her greatly, and look forward to a heavenly reunion.
