Kathleen Savitz

Kathleen Savitz, 69, Honesdale, formerly of Lake Ariel, passed away on November 21, 2025, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was the widow of Donald "Willy" Savitz.

Kathy Savitz was born on January 23, 1956 in Scranton, PA, and was the daughter of the later Richard Belles and Joan Ramble Belles. Kathleen graduated from Western Wayne High School and was a member of the class of 1974. She started her career as a Nurses Aide and went on to work at the Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home.

She was of the Catholic faith and had been a member of the St Thomas More St Mary's Parish Community, Lake Ariel. Those who were lucky enough to have known Kathy are blessed to have known her kind and generous heart and her beautiful soul.

Kathleen is survived her niece and caregiver Sara Stephens as well as her sisters Kim Williams and Betsy Belles, and her nephew William Belles.   

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
