Kenneth Robert Hartman

Kenneth Robert Hartman, 83, The Hideout, Lake Ariel, PA., passed away Tuesday morning at his home surrounded by his family.  Married to Ruth (Hansen) together for 60 years.

Born 1941 in Dover, New Jersey, Kenneth was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Ethel Schroeder Hartman. Ken was educated in Dover high school and went on to study at the County College of Morris.   He served honorably in the United States Army 1960-1964 with multiple accommodations.

Prior to his retirement Ken was employed as an administrator with the Warner Lambert -Pfizer Company.

Also surviving are sons Ken and his wife Linda; Chad and his wife Mayumi; beloved grandchildren Chelsea, Lele, Andy, Maili and Lia; his nephew Randy Miller.

He loved meeting and talking to new people anywhere he went, coaching soccer, racquetball, martial arts, riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, shooting, camping, traveling, boating, canoeing, kayaking, drawing, taking care of his yard, playing board games and video games, repairing things, tinkering, telling stories / jokes and doing everything with his family.

Military honors will be rendered Sunday, October 6th at 4pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

Friends may visit Sunday October 6 from 2pm until the time of the military services.

Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
