Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 31 at 11am in the Church of Saint Gregory 330 North Abington Road Clarks Green, 18411.
Kenneth F. Walsh, 75, South Abington Township, passed away Monday morning at his home with his wife by his side. His wife of 31 wonderful years is the former Judith O'Malley.
Ken was born July 6, 1950 in Scranton and was the son of the late Thomas and Ann Marie Colosimmo Walsh. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and went on to study to become a certified respiratory technician. He started his career at the former Mercy Hospital then accepted an invitation from one of his best friends, Thomas Dailey, to work for him at Dailey Resources. Due to injuries suffered during his time in the service his career was cut short. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the Church of Saint Gregory.
Ken loved to play bingo and the lottery. Ken also enjoyed his Saturday date nights wife Judy when they would dine out at their favorite restaurants. He will be remembered for his impeccable style and beautiful wardrobe which he took great pride in. He will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to have known him.
Also surviving are his sister Ann Marie Walsh; his brother Thomas Walsh; a niece Shannon; his brother in law Michael O'Malley; cousins; countless friends.
He was also preceded in death by a niece Theresa and a nephew Tommy; and his beloved dog Chiara.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 31 at 11am in the Church of Saint Gregory 330 North Abington Road Clarks Green, 18411.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00am until the time of the Mass at the church.
Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the Mass at the church.
Interment, private in Cathedral Cemetery.
