Leslie G. Hardy

Leslie G. Hardy, 81 of Lake Ariel, passed away Sunday evening at home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Verna Parkin – Hobson. Prior to retirement, she was a Manager at Mayflower Thrift Store in Massachusetts. Leslie was an avid reader.

Surviving is her son Scott Hardy of Lake Ariel; daughters Stephanie Lanore Faherty and her husband Tom of Massachusetts and Karen Anne Harran of Massachusetts; a brother Phil Hobson; a sister Ann Wormer; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Brandin Hardy.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, November 26th at 10:00am at Catterson Cemetery, Sterling.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
