Obituary

Llewellyn "Lew" Courtright, Hamlin, went home to his heavenly father Sunday afternoon in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after a short illness. His loving wife of 50 years, Dawn (Hannes) Courtright survives him. They were married on June 28, 1975.

Lew was born March 17, 1951 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Homer C. and Mary Evans Courtright and was a 1969 graduate of the former Lake Consolidated High School , Lake Ariel and went on and graduated from Johnson School of Technology. He was a lifelong member of the Salem Community Church, Hamlin. He worked alongside his family running the family dairy farm.

Surviving are his children whom he dearly loved, sons Ryan Courtright and his wife Amanda and Brenten Courtright; daughter Gwendolyn Enslin and her husband George, Jr.; sister Carol Williams and her husband Hank; brother Chris Courtright and his wife Patty; grandchildren Logan Courtright, Luke Courtright, Noah Courtright, Hunter Enslin, Elijah Courtright and Abigail Enslin; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 1, 2026 at 4pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel officiated by Rev. Wendy D'Agostino. 

Friends may call Sunday from 2pm until the time of the service in the funeral home.
