Lois L. Batzel

Lois L. Batzel, 84 of Lake Ariel, passed away Sunday afternoon at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel. She was the widow of the late Clyde Batzel.

Born on February 16, 1940 in Honesdale, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Haney and the former Ethel B. Gregory. She was a graduate of Waymart High School. Lois enjoyed spending winters in Florida, Panama City, and Jamaica.

Surviving are her son Wayne Batzel and his wife LuAnn of Lake Ariel; daughter Diane Shelp and her husband Charles of Lake Ariel; 4 grandchildren.

Private cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Spring Interment, Hollisterville Cemetery, Hollisterville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
