Lois Wildenstein Panullo of Waymart died Wednesday morning at home following an illness. Her husband was Alfonce Panullo who died in 2010.

Born in Aldenville, PA, daughter of the late Karl L. and Sarah Chyle Wildenstein, she was a graduate of Waymart High School and the Humboldt Institute, Minneapolis, MN. Prior to retirement she had worked as an insurance agent for  Rodgers, Oliver, and Polley for over 30 years. She was the first secretary to the School Board for Western Wayne School District.

Surviving are children Alfonce Timothy and his wife Dawn of Lake Ariel, Cheryl Orinick and her husband Steve of Waymart, and Sarah Panullo and her companion Martin Mata of Waymart; grandchildren Nicholas Karl Mata and his girlfriend Jessica Donavon; a brother Henry Wildenstein and his wife Diane of Elkmont, AL; a sister Dawn Wildenstein of Lester, AL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Karl L. Wildenstein, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 8th at 11:00am in the South Canaan Free Methodist Church 19 St. Tikhon’s Rd. South Canaan with services by Rev. William Rushik.

Friends may call Saturday from 10:00-11:00am at the Church.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
