Lonnie Lee Schneider

Lonnie Lee Schneider, 67, of Scranton, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning.

His wife is the former Janet Velehoski.

He was the son of the late Adolf and Gladys Howell Schneider.  He worked through the years as a stone mason, truck driver, and machine operator, who in his later years worked with his son Bill.

He loved to hunt, ride his Harley Trike, enjoyed working with horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are sons Jody and wife Tammy; Bill and wife Amy all of Lake Ariel; his daughter Kim Schmidt and husband Ben of Madisonville;  sisters, Debra Lamberton of Hollisterville, Brenda Kovaleski and husband Greg of Lake Ariel;  grandchildren Jody Jr, Courtney, Harlie, Grace, Faith, Hope, Loni and Dustin; great granddaughter Audrey;  mother-in-law, Eleanor Velehoski, nieces, nephews; cousins & friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Venesky and brother in law Rodger Lamberton.

Funeral services will be held Friday , May 25, 2018 at 1:30p.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services officiated by Lonnie’s son, Pastor Bill Schneider.

Friends may call Friday from Noon until the time of the service.
