Lorraine Michalowski passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 74, to join her beloved husband, Joseph. Lorraine dedicated her life to nurturing her home and family. She is survived by her cherished son, Marc Michalowski, daughter-in-law, Ann Michalowski, and her beloved grandchildren: Marisa, Michael, Isaac, and Cora Michalowski. She also leaves behind her mother, Alice Alunni; sisters, Linda Ball and Caroline Edwards; and brothers, Elmer Alunni, Joseph Alunni, and Alfred Alunni Jr. Lorraine was preceded in death by her father Alfred Alunni and brother Adam Alunni.
A woman of many passions, Lorraine found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. She had a nurturing touch for gardening, bringing vibrant blooms and bountiful vegetables to life with her hands. Fishing was another favorite pastime, where she enjoyed her time with Joe. In the kitchen, Lorraine’s culinary talents shone brightly; her family often gathered around the table to enjoy her “Famous Lasagna,” as well as other delicious meals, savoring the aromas and flavors of her lovingly prepared dishes. She enjoyed spending the winters in the Florida sun and the summers at Clayton Park RV Escape, Lake Ariel, PA.
Lorraine’s spirit will linger in the hearts of those who knew her, woven into the fabric of cherished memories and countless moments shared. As family and friends come together to celebrate her life, they will recall her laughter, kindness, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy will endure in the gardens she tended, in the delicious meals that will forever echo in family gatherings, and in the hearts of her children and grandchildren who carry forward her light.
