Louis T. Campisi, Honesdale, died early Sunday morning in the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.  His wife of 20 years is the former Amy Lewis.

Born in Plainview, NY he was the son of Matthew Campisi of Florida and Lucille Tine Campisi of Waymart.  He was a graduate of the Central High School in Florida and St Leo College and earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.  He was a member of the St John the Evangelist Parish Community, Honesdale.  Prior to his illness Lou was employed as a federal corrections officer at USP Canaan, Waymart.

Also surviving are his beloved daughters Emily and Lena and her fiancé Kaleb Davis and  a sister Donna Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his nephew James Taylor;  paternal and maternal grandparents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am in St. Mary’s Church Church and Fifth Streets, Honesdale.

Interment, Florida Hills Cemetery, Spring Hill, Florida.
