Lucy Szczerba Scarcella

Lucy Szczerba, 88 of Lake Ariel, died Tuesday morning at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center. Her husband of 60 years John E. Szczerba died in 2015.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Frances (Bruno) Scarcella.
Surviving are a daughter Deborah Linder of Lake Ariel and a son Tommy Szczerba, preceded in death by daughter-in-law Denise Szczerba of Toms River, NJ; grandchildren Arielle and Thomas Szczerba and Andrew and Melanie Linder; a nephew Fr. Mitch Pazwa; dear friend Russ Toepfer.
Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and under the direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
