Marie Mastrachio

Marie Mastrachio, 85, of Lake Ariel, PA passed away peacefully on March 30. Marie was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Angelina Grosso and was born October 13, 1938 in the Bronx, NY.

Surviving are daughters  Laura Mastrobuono, Angela Tracy and son-in-law Bob, four grandchildren, Laura King, Ryan Tracy, Danielle and Nicole Mastrobuono, of whom she was immensely proud, a significant other Bob Hudson, and Niece Doreen and Nephews Robert and Scott.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Mastrachio, a brother, Robert Grosso, and Robert’s wife, Constance.

Marie supported many philanthropic organizations, was an avid foodie and an excellent cook, as well as a successful businesswoman having owned and operated Plaza Pizza and Restaurant in Carmel, NY for many years with her partner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 4 at 10:30AM at Saint Patrick Church, 137 Moseman Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.  Those attending the Mass are asked to report directly to the church.

Interment will take place following the Mass at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
