Marieanne Harris

Marieanne Harris, 82, of Lake Ariel, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from complications of pneumonia.

Marieanne was a graduate of Fell Township Junior-Senior High School. As a young woman, she was an avid basketball player and throughout her life enjoyed a variety of interests, including tennis, golf, skiing, and travel.

Marieanne was also a talented artist. Art was an important part of her life, and over the years she exhibited and sold some of her work at art shows. She was involved in her church and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Marieanne was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Stanley Vitzakovitch; her brother, William Vitzakovitch; and her granddaughter, Ashley Newman, daughter of Stacy.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Tolkin and Heather Tolkin; and her grandchildren, Anthony Oliveri and his wife, Desiree Oliveri; Nicole Oliveri; Ryan Wayne; Moriah Wayne; and Savannah Wayne.

Marieanne is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Lillyanna, daughter of Ashley; Giovanni Oliveri, Valentina Oliveri, and Marcello Anthony Oliveri, children of Anthony and Desiree; Lexi and Lorenzo Oliveri, children of Nicole; and Camden Delade, son of Moriah.

She is also survived by her sister, Jane Preate; her brother, Stanley Vitzakovitch and his wife, Carol; her sister-in-law, Kathleen Vitzakovitch; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Ledgedale, Pennsylvania, inurnment immediately following in the parish cemetery.
