Marilyn W. Christopher, 79, of Lake Ariel, passed away Thursday afternoon in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Her loving husband of 57 years is Joseph Christopher.

Born June 9, 1941 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marguerite Wibel Moore. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and attended the Philadelphia Business School. Prior to retirement, Marilyn was the Admissions Coordinator at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center in Lake Ariel. She was a member of the St. Thomas More / St. Mary’s Parish Community and the Maplewood Cemetery Association. She volunteered at the Hamlin Community Library.

Also surviving are daughters Deborah Fattori and her husband Francis of Oxford, Pa, and Lisa Christopher and her husband Howard Engleman of Burlington, NJ; grandchildren Gabrielle and Francis Fattori, and Lauren Love; great grandchildren Mason and Avery Love.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Due to the current health crisis, a Memorial Service will be held at a future date and time to be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

The family encourages memorial contributions to be made in her name to the Hamlin Community Library, 518 Easton Turnpike, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436
