Marjorie J. Chapman Bell

Marjorie J. Chapman of the Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Tuesday night at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center following an illness. Her husband was the late Jack Chapman.

Born in Lake Ariel, PA, daughter of the late Spencer and Jennifer Marshall Bell, she was a member of Salem Community Church and worked as a real estate broker.

Marge enjoyed being active and loved golf, tennis, bowling and pickelball both in The Hideout and in The Villages, FL. She also enjoyed card games with friends.

Surviving are a daughter Deborah J. Ott and her husband James of Hawley, PA and Seabrook Island, SC; a son Randy Jack Chapman and his wife Ellen of Amherst, NH; her companion Jim Merritt of Lake Ariel; a brother Carl Bell of Boyds Mills, PA; grandchildren Jaclyn Lee Ott, Jack Thomas Chapman, and Alison Chapman; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Bell.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at 12:30pm in the Salem Community Church 613 Hamlin Highway Hamlin, PA.

Friends may call Saturday from 11:30-12:30pm at the Church.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Inurnment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
