Marlene R. Buckingham Freeman

Marlene R. Buckingham of Madison Twp., died Monday morning at home following an illness.

Born in Scranton, she was a member of the Jericho Independent Church and had worked as an attendant for a fire house in Bridgewater, NJ. A point of pride for her was being a meticulous homemaker where she cleaned, cooked, and fed her family.

Surviving are a daughter Elaine Hutchings; a son Thomas; sisters Carol and Wilma; a brother Wesley; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Robert.

Graveside services took place in the Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery, Maplewood.
