Martha Auguste Buhring

Martha Auguste Buhring, Sterling, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her family.   She was the widow of Eric Buhring who passed away in 1997.  The couple had been married 46 years.

Born 1925 in Gudlaukis, Lithuania, she was the daughter of the late Juozas and Auguste Drescher.   She was of the Methodist faith.  Martha was dedicated to her family and running the family farm.

Surviving are her children Fred and wife Louise, Erich and wife Justine, James, Carl and wife Patricia all of Sterling, Betty Lake and husband Kenneth of Seattle, WA and Linda Horeczy of East Haddam, CT; a daughter in law Marlene Buehring of Hamlin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Walter and brother Richard Drescher.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with Rev. Jeffrey Rarich, officiating.

Friends may call Monday from 4-7pm.

Interment, Catterson Cemetery, Sterling.
