Martin D. “Flea Market Marty” Kobovitch, Hawley, formerly of Elizabeth, New Jersey, died Tuesday afternoon in the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center after an illness.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey he moved to Pennsylvania in his later years after retirement. He had been employed as a bookkeeper and accountant for a security company in New Jersey. Marty was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and also enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are sons Marty Kobovitch of Toms River, New Jersey and Mark Kobovitch and his wife Virginia of Lake Ariel; a brother Frank Kobovitch of Lake Ariel; a grandson Patrick Kobovitch of Clark, New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline; brothers Johnny and Eddie; a sister Helen Olsen.
Friends may call Saturday December 26 th , in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel from 12pm until 3pm .
Interment and graveside services will be held Monday December 28 th at 11am in the Clover Leaf Memorial Park (GPS Directions) 999 US Highway 1 South, Woodbridge Township, New Jersey 07095.
