Martin Larocca

Martin LaRocca, The Hideout, Lake Ariel, passed away March 22 in the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness. His wife of 43 years is the former Joyce Helley.

Born 1938 in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of the late Anthony and Vera LaRocca. He was of the Catholic faith. Prior to his retirement, Martin was employed by the Federal Business Property Management Company as a supervisor. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corp.

Also surviving are sons Martin and his wife Kathy of New York and Christopher of Tennessee; a brother James of North Carolina; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Martin was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Cremation in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a date and time to be announced.
