Mary Alice Balicki Miller

Mary Alice Balicki, a resident of Briarwood Manor, Newfoundland, died Monday afternoon in the Geisinger Community Medical Center.   She was the widow of John Balicki who died in 2001.

Born in Callapoose, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Cavill Miller.   She attended the Sterling High School.   Mary also attended the Free Methodist Church of South Canaan.

Surviving are her sister Frances Frisbie and her husband Edwin of Lake Ariel;  nephews and nieces including Dave and Bob Jackson both of Lake Ariel and Sondra Frisbie of Texas; great nephews and nieces.

She was also preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Jackson.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel officiated by Rev. William Rushik, pastor of the Free Methodist Church of South Canaan.

Friends may call Thursday from 4-6pm.

Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
