Mary Lou Haslinger

Mary Lou C. Haslinger, 88, of Waymart and formerly of Auberndale, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 29th at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel, following an illness. Her husband of 25 years, Wayne Haslinger passed away in 2017.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille Kelly - McCarthy. She was a graduate of St. Mark's Elementary School and Bay Ridge High School. Prior to retirement she had been employed as a ward clerk at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY.

Mary Lou enjoyed singing at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, NY and Tavern on the green

Surviving are her daughters Maryanne and Louis Eichner Rio NY,  Patricia and Peter Burger Newburgh NY Joseph Boyle of Waymart Pa and Thomas C Boyle and Pamela Hillman of Oswego NY; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Kathleen LaMot. 

Private cremation took place at Lake Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
