Mary C. Weidhaas

Mary C. Weidhaas (79) of Hawley, PA passed away on December 8, 2023 Saint Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, after an illness.  Born September 15, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, she was daughter of the late Thomas Reed and the former Anna Daugherty.

Before her retirement, Mary was employed as Office and Business Manager at a Business and Storage complex.

Surviving is her son, Eugene Weidhaas from Sorrento, FL; her daughter, Kimberly Crawn & significant other Michael Griffin from Hawley, PA; her son-in-Law, John Crawn from Sorrento, FL; grandchildren Jonathan Crawn & significant other from Hawley, PA, Justina Crawn & significant other from Hawley, PA, Bianca Paulikowski from Lowell, MA, Bailey Paulikowski and fiance Joe DiMirco from Dunmore, PA, Peter Johnson and wife Amanda from Talbott, TN, Tasha Johnson from Talbott, TN, and Blain Johnson from Sorrento, FL; great-grandchildren Bentley Johnson, Oliver Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Elizabeth Enterline-Johnson, Karma Paulikowski, Vivia Fichera, Phoenix Fichera and Lukas DiMirco.

Also surviving is a sister Beverly Port & husband John, Sister Jean Mason, Brother Thomas Reed and fiance LuAnn Grimm and Sister Sandra Karmade, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a great-great-nephew; and let’s not forget her favorite pets Missie, Chupa & Bubba.

In addition to her parents, Mary was Preceded in death by a niece and nephew-in-law.

A private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

There will be a Celebration of Mary’s Life in the early spring.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
