Miles S. Havenstrite

Miles S. Havenstrite of Lake Ariel died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Born in Scranton, son of Karen Boylan Benson and Mark Havenstrite, both of Lake Ariel, he was a graduate of Western Wayne High School Class of 2010. He had worked as a treesmith.

He loved to cook and garden, the outdoors, and animals. He adored his children and was the happiest when he was spending time with them. The family would like to thank Hamlin EMS, Commonwealth Ambulance, and Maplewood First Responders for their compassionate care.

Also surviving are sons Miles S. Havenstrite, Jr. and Ethan L. Havenstrite; a brother Mason and a sister Olivia Benson both of Lake Ariel; grandmothers Janet Havenstrite of Madisonville and Christine Schwartz of Scranton; a grandfather Harry Campbell of Canastota, NY; several aunts, uncles and cousins; longtime girlfriend Tiffany Knowles.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather Miles Havenstrite.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Friday from 4:00-7:00pm.

Cremation will follow the Service in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
