Myrtie L. Curtis

Myrtie L. Curtis of Lake Ariel went to be with our precious Lord and Savior July 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Pierson and her second husband Harold Curtis.

Born on April 17, 1929 in Bluejacket, OK she was the daughter of the late Ela T. and Gertrude Taylor Swift. She had been employed as a secretary.

Surviving are daughters Danielle Carrington and her husband Derek of Riverside, CA and Judith Haff and her husband Jake of Greentown, PA; Sisters Eunice Hightower of Vinita, OK, Rosa Brown of Narco, CA, and Elizabeth Snyder of Miama, OK; grandchildren Heidi Manley, Ron Eberlein, Lee Haff, David Haff, Christy Owen, Heather, Ryan, Matthew, and Christopher Carrington; Great-grandchildren Tyler and Justin Manley, Gabriel, Alexander, and Xavier Haff, Ethan, Nicholas, Annabelle, and Vivian Ederlein, and Kayley Marie Owen; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister Leona McCoy; brothers Harvey, Lonnie, Otis, and Cecil Swift.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Julie Ribaudo Extended Care Center for the exceptional care given to Myrtie.

Interment, Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
