Nancy Darlene Frisbie Slate

Nancy Darlene Frisbie, 64, of Lake Ariel passed away on Sunday August 13 ^th at Wayne Memorial Hospital following an illness. Her husband is Edward W. Frisbie, Jr.

Nancy was born on October 17, 1952 in Hardyston Township, PA to the late Truman and Gladys (Dowd) Slate. Nancy was a homemaker. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing bingo and slots. Nancy was fantastic at crocheting and in her younger years enjoyed bowling, she enjoyed her NASCAR racing. She also enjoyed helping out anyone and everyone.

Also surviving are sons Edward W. Frisbie Jr. of Wantage, David Frisbie and his fiancé Melissa of Raleigh, NC and Christine Frisbie of Wantage, and two cherished grandsons, Zachary and Tyler, and her siblings, Joan Struble, Thomas (Emma) Slate, Clyde Slate, Douglas (Wendy) Slate, Donald Slate, Darlene (John) Miller, Truman (Robin) Slate, and Terrie Maness and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Trudy and Susan.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 2nd at 1:00pm in the Pavilion at Clayton Park 26 Eagle Eye Dr. Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel
