Nora Jane Zeiler

Nora Jane Zeiler, beloved daughter of Braden and Emily (Samson) Zeiler, and baby sister to Calvin Zeiler, was born sleeping on Thursday, May 22, 2025, weighing 5 lbs 6.8 oz and measuring 18 inches long. Our lives were touched by her short time with us, and we will forever cherish the love and joy she brought to our family.

Though Nora’s life was brief, her family takes great comfort in knowing that the first thing she saw when her little eyes opened was the face of Jesus. We trust she is at peace in God’s Kingdom alongside those who have gone before her. Her great grandmothers who were so fond of babies are no doubt caring for our sweet girl.

Nora is survived by her loving parents Braden and Emily and her big brother Calvin. She is also survived by her caring grandparents: Anna Samson (Nana), Phil Carpenter (Poppy), and Daniel and Cathy Zeiler (Grandma and Pa). She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Steve Samson.

The family would like to extend their deepest thanks and gratitude to the Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital’s Perinatal Unit for their compassionate care and support during Nora’s delivery.

Per the family’s wishes, her ashes will be interred at the family homestead among the flowers first planted by her Great Grandmother, Dorothy Jane Eno Samson, after whom Nora received her middle name. A private remembrance ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital Perinatal Bereavement Program or the Wayne County Public Library Children’s Room.
