With deep love and gratitude, we remember Pat Mosomillo, Jr., a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and friend whose generosity, warmth, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. He had a heart full of kindness, a soul rich with stories, and always made time to listen, share memories, and offer guidance.
Pat Mosomillo, Jr., of Sterling, passed away peacefully on New Year's Day at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Bohling) Mosomillo, with whom he shared 66 loving years of marriage.
Born on February 27, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, Pat was the son of Pasquale and Rose (Logosso) Mosomillo. He attended school in Farmingdale, NY, and was a man of strong Catholic faith, belonging to the Saint Thomas More, St. Mary's parish community.
Pat worked for Ice Cool Refrigeration before owning and operating his own business, Chill Temp Mechanical, in the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
In addition to his wife Linda, Pat is survived by his daughter, Sandra Tufano; his son, Mark Mosomillo and wife Margaret; his brother, Thomas Mosomillo and wife Mary Ellen; his sister, Rosemarie Stewart and husband Eugene; his sister-in-law, Nancy Wheeler and husband Jon; and his beloved grandchildren, Brandon and fiancée Lily; Alex and spouse JR; Nick (lovingly known as Nicky) and wife Keri; Ally and fiancé Matt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat consistently put others first, welcoming everyone with open arms and making them feel at home. Family was the center of his world, and he cherished bringing loved ones together, creating moments filled with laughter and connection. He also enjoyed simple pleasures and time outdoors, walking on the beach, boating, and fishing with family and friends.
Above all, he will be remembered for his kindness, joy, and devotion to others, and his legacy lives on through the love he gave, the family he cherished, and the countless lives he touched.
