Patricia L. Blaum Mcandrew

Patricia L. Blaum, 71, of Hawley, passed away Saturday morning at home following a lengthy illness. Her loving husband of 50 years is Joseph Blaum.

Born July 30, 1950 in Wilkes – Barre, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Flannery McAndrew. She was a graduate of Wilkes – Barre Coughlin High School Class of 1968. Prior to retirement, Patty was the Executive Director of the Southern Wayne Chamber of Commerce.

Patty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  Her family was her life and she took the greatest pride and joy in supporting them.  She would do anything for anybody and will be remembered fondly by all those that had the pleasure to meet her.

Also surviving are her daughter Jennifer Ashley Blaum of Archbald; son Brian Blaum and his wife Danielle of Lakeville; sisters Terri Girolamo of North Carolina and Molly McAndrew of Colorado; brothers Thomas McAndrew of Florida and Kevin McAndrew of New York; grandchildren J.J., Matthew, and Ali Blaum; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
