Patricia Newman

Patricia Newman passed away peacefully Friday December 13, 2024.

She was born in the High Bridge section of the Bronx, NY. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked many jobs until she became a hair dresser, which she loved.

She was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Alice (Burke) and John Howard and her brother Robert Howard. She is survived by her son Kevin and daughters Barbara (Mike) and Nancy, her siblings, Jack (Mary), (Janet), Jimmy (Pat), Tommy (Maryellen), Billy (Ruth) and Alice (Adie). Her beloved grandchildren, Kenny (Sherry), Kevin (Nerieda), Sean (Antoinette), Jeanne (Ed), Michelle, Erin, Beth (Daniel), Peter and great grandchildren Kaitlin, Kayla, Kyle, Taylor, Addison, Claire and Penny Jane, and many nieces an nephews.

Patsy was loved by many, she loved socializing, she was a real people person and the life of the party. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, the WLE women’s luncheon club, and a Red Hat lady. She loved painting and making beautiful things. She was very proud of where she came from, the Bronx. She loved and was proud of her family.

All attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Church Road Ledgedale by Rev. Stephen Bosomafi, pastor.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-6pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ledgedale.
