Ramon Esteban Rodriguez-Alonso, 88, of Lake Ariel, formerly Westbury, NY, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at Julia Ribaudo extended care center.

Born in 1937 in Quivican, Cuba, he was son of the late Josefa and Ramon Rodriguez-Torres, and worked in the Aeronautics Industry as a CNC operator.

Ramon was a man of great integrity who enjoyed his favorite music, baseball and being with his family.

Ramon is survived by sons David Rodriguez and his wife Nicole of Lake Ariel, and Israel Montes de Oca and his wife Susan, of Kansas City; 7 grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

In addition to his parents, Ramon is preceded in death by his beloved wife Clara Rodriguez and sister Amina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Brigid Church, Westbury, NY on Saturday, April 12 at 9AM. Friends and family may call on Friday, April 11 from 6-8PM at the James-Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel. Interment, Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Ramon’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
