Ramona Howell Harris, Lake Ariel, went home to her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, July 26, 2026 in the Julia Ribaudo Extended care Center, Lake Ariel. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Gerald Russell Howell who passed away October 26, 2010 with whom she enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage.

Mona was born February 3, 1943 in Preston Park, Wayne County, PA. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Merle Quick Hunt and was educated in Preston Park schools. She then went on to become a beautician, owning, and operating Mona's Beauty shop.

But her true calling was motherhood and teaching at the Canaan Christian Academy, where she was able to share her deep faith and devotion to living a good Christian life for many years. She was a devoted member of the Canaan Bible Chapel.

Surviving our her daughters, Lisa Swingle, and her husband Scottie, Allison Beam, Jenny Manwiller; her son, Randy Howell, and his wife Linda; Sisters, Martha Peck, and Evelyn Thomas, and her husband Pastor Larry Thomas. Ten Grandchildren and 14 Great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was also proceeded in death by her sisters, Alice Conbeer and Lois Fitz and brothers Paul and Johnny Hunt; her husband Eugene Harris.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3 at 11 AM in the Canaan Bible Chapel Hemlock Rd., Lake Ariel officiated by Rev. Daniel Henwood, Pastor

Friends may call Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of service in the church

Interment, private with her beloved husband Gerald in the Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.
