Richard A. Murphy, Sr.

Richard was born on January 25, 1925 and passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015.

Richard was a resident of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing.

He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.

He was a U.S. Marine World War II veteran. He also joined the Army and served in the German Occupation.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy Pastor.Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.Interment with military honors in St. Mary’s Cemetery Ledgedale Pa.
