Obituary

Robert R. Dudick, 92, of S. Abington Twp., passed away on Sunday, April 19th at Allied Hospice Center, following an illness.

Bob was born on August 14, 1933 in Hop Bottom, PA to the late Peter and Mary Dudick. He graduated from Scranton Technical High School then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his military service he graduated from The University of Scranton on the GI bill earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business

He spent most of his career in the Aerospace Industry first working for Bendix Corporation in Montrose, PA before building his own company Timely Associates/Susquehanna Precision in Susquehanna, PA

Bob was an outstanding baseball pitcher earning him the title of Iron Arm Dudick. He truly enjoyed his bowling leagues and American Legion Post 908 fish club.

Bob's life was filled with love. He first married the late Catherine Lowry Dudick and they shared four children. Three of his children preceded him in death, Kathleen, Robert and Paul. He is survived by his daughter Diane Dudick Grambo and her husband Ed.

Bob later married Maureen Mason-Dudick in 2018 and added more love to his life with the addition of Richard Burrier and his wife Jen, Kimberly Dennis and her husband Kevin, Tiffany Kisendahl and Earl Harvey and his wife Wendy; grandchildren Maxwell Burrier and Sarah Burrier - Smith and her husband Kyle and their beautiful daughter Sadie Mae, Devon and Sam Kiesendahl, Ryan and Alexes Harvey; his beloved corgi Ralphy.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Colangelo, sister's-in-law Lorraine Delmonte and Valerie Vivian; brother in law Dr. Michael Mason and his wife Heather; many loved nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by mother's-in-law Kitty Lowery and Joan Wendel; father's-in-law Bert Lowry and Gene Wendel.

Bob was truly a great example of what a husband, father and friend is. His devotion to his family and friends was always evident. Everyone he met loved him instantly. You couldn't help but be captivated by his wisdom, warmth, kindness and undeniable charisma.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 30th at 10:00AM at The Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Rd. Clarks Green, Pa 18411.

Private Inurnment, Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
