Robert A. Kappel

Robert A. Kappel of Waymart died Thursday morning at home.

Born in Manhattan, NY, son of the late William and Mary Kappel, he had been employed as a truck driver.

He enjoyed fishing, horses, farming, Motorcycling and gardening.

Surviving are nephews Joe Williams, Andrew Bennett, Randy Bennett, and Tommy Townsend all of Lake Ariel, Gregory Townsend of York, PA, Dominick, Tommy, and Billy Kappel all of Hudson, NY; nieces Roberta Putman of Lake Ariel, Dorothy Kappel, and Janice Brodowski.

He was preceded in death by a brother William Kappel; sisters Florence Townsend and Dorothy Bennett.

Graveside services will be private in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
