Robert Arthur Woodcock, Jr.

May 25, 1960 — March 11, 2026

Robert Arthur Woodcock, Jr.

Robert Arthur Woodcock was born in Oneonta, New York, to the late Robert and Evelyn Woodcock. Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Ann Woodcock (May), whom he deeply loved and missed.

He lived a life filled with simple joys, family, and the things that made him happiest. Robert was the kind of man who enjoyed life in the little moments. He loved a cold Genny, a cigarette, and a good horseshoe game on a warm day with his siblings. Late-night sandwiches, classic rock music playing in the background, and hot summer days spent in the Susquehanna River were some of his favorite things. Those who knew Robert will remember his laid-back spirit and the simple way he enjoyed life. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas Woodcock of Oneonta, New York; his daughter, Jessica Woodcock (Kyle) of Walton, New York; and his stepdaughter, Tammy Marciano. He is also survived by his siblings, Frank Woodcock (Cheryl) of Oneonta, New York, Leon Woodcock of Orangeburg, New York, and Donna Johnson (Steven) of Otego, New York. Robert was a proud grandfather to Michael, Mitchell, Mickinzy, Carter, and Levi, and step-grandfather to Alex, Cauldron, and Miles. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, especially his sister-in-law, Helene Jablonski.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenance of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.
