Roberta Lynn Tighe, 66 of Lake Ariel, joined our Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2026 with her devoted husband, Joe, by her side.

She was born in Scranton and was the daughter of the late Robert Joseph and Joan Marilyn Farley Wolf. She was educated at Abington Heights High School, and was a graduate of the class of 1978. Following graduation, she was trained as a cosmetologist, was a co-owner of Hot Rod Hoagies, and later began a long career as a waitress.

Roberta, or better known as "Bert", was a sweet, kind, loving, and beautiful soul whose warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a heart full of compassion, always putting others before herself and offering comfort, laughter and love so freely.

In addition to her husband, Joseph Tighe, she is survived by her son, Andy Sartor, his wife Sharon, stepsons, Joey Tighe and Josh Tighe (Hali), granddaughters, Claire, Catherine, Ava and Hayzli, also sisters, Carolyn Pembridge (Ken), Debbie Ritter (Bill), brothers, Michael Wolf (Connie), Richard Wolf (Barb), mother-in-law Geraldine Kovaleski, sister-in-laws and extended family including ex-husband Dave Sartor and her "besties" Ingrid and Lesa.

Roberta was preceded in death by her sister Cathy Collins.

Roberta will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her unwavering love for family & friends. Her love will leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.

Though her passing leaves a tremendous void, her memory will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed & forever cherished.

A celebration of Roberta's life will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 12:00 - 3:00 at Saint George's Restaurant, 304 Church Street #306, Jessup.
