Rodger Lee Lamberton, II, 49, of Lake Ariel lost his courageous fight to colorectal cancer on Wednesday January 28, 2026.

Born February 13, 1976, Rodger was a lifelong resident of Lake Ariel, he was a 1994 graduate of Western Wayne High School. Owner of Lamberton’s Advanced Masonry, he lived out his days doing what he loved with his son Gavin by his side.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Cathy Murphy Lamberton. His sons, Brandon and wife, Bridget, Gavin and Ethan Lamberton. As well as his best buddy and pride and joy, his grandson, Rhett James Lamberton. Also surviving are his sisters and their husbands, Nicole and Craig Kohuth, Sarah and Jimmy Edwards, and Raven and Sam Griffiths. His maternal aunt and uncle, Brenda and Greg Kovaleski, and his paternal aunt, Gail Dolph. Along with the entire Murphy family and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that all adored him and he adored in return.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodger and Debra Lamberton, grandparents, William and Helen Lamberton, paternal uncle, Randy Lamberton, as well as his infant granddaughter, Amelia Kay Lamberton.

Rodger was the epitome of a family man. His wife, kids, and grandkids were his world. He loved the outdoors, hunting or fishing with his boys was his favorite way to spend his time. He leaves behind a legacy that his family will be sure lives on through each one of them.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Adalyn Rose Foundation at 2744 Century Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610 in honor of the Lamberton Family.
