Roger L. Beavers of Honesdale died Wednesday morning at the Carbondale Nursing Home following an illness.

Born in Mt. Cobb, he worked in poultry farming.

Surviving are a brother Raymond Beavers of Lake Ariel; a cousin Richard Mazzga of Honesdale; nieces Tanya Sheerer of Waymart and Rosemary Tucker of King William, Virginia; many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
