Romaine B. Myers Cooper

Romaine B.  Myers of Mt. Cobb, Jefferson Township, died peacefully at home on Monday, March 2, 2015.

Born on June 21, 1925, in Saco, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Nothacker Cooper and the wife of Robert H. who died in 2002.

Romaine was a lifelong member of the Elmdale Independent Bible Church of Mt. Cobb.  She loved her Lord, her church, and her family.   Romaine was an excellent cook and baker and meticulously manicured her vegetable and flower gardens.  She was also very fond of her feline friend, Eva, which provided her constant company.  Romaine will be remembered as an independent woman who offered her friendship to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are a daughter, Kathie DelGuercio and husband, Jacob, of Mt. Cobb; a son, Richard  and wife, Pamela of Spring Brook Township; daughter-in-law, Ann of Carbondale; granddaughter Dawn Norvilas and husband, Joseph of Mt. Cobb; grandsons Corey , Jared, and Ethan;  and  great-grandson, J.C. Norvilas; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gary R. who died in 1990; her daughter Linda Williams Seidita who died in 2006, and her husband Anthony Seidita who died in 2008.  She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings, John , William, Glenn, and Lynn Cooper and Jean White all of whom resided in the general vicinity of Mount Cobb.

The family would like to extend special thanks to all the friends and family members who visited and helped care for her over the years.

The funeral will be Thursday at  Noon in the James H. Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, PA with the Rev. Willard Black, pastor of Elmdale Independent Bible Church officiating.  Interment, Elmdale Cemetery, Mt. Cobb at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call on the family from 10am until the time of service.
