Ruth E. DiPalma of Lake Ariel died Tuesday morning at the Regional Hospital of Scranton following a long battle with stage four pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Frank T. DiPalma, Jr. sons Michael and his wife Lindsay, Douglas, and Nicholas all of Lake Ariel and grandson Cody; her brother Daniel Wilber and his wife Lynn of Chicago Il.; sister Delores Trieble and husband Walter of Houston Tx.
Born in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Elgin C. and Jeannette Houser Wilber, she had worked as an accountant for Campbell Soup and later owned M n’ D Lawn & Landscape. She attended Parker Hill Church, Dickson City Campus.
Funeral services will be Friday at 6:30pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, PA, with services by Rev. Errol Morgan.
Friends may attend the viewing Friday from 4:00-6:30pm.
Cremation will follow the service in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
