Sarah Ruth Zwick

Sara Ruth Telenko - Zwick, 91, formerly of Clarks Summit and Davidsville, Pa, passed away Sunday evening at Elan Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Scranton. Her husband of 51 years, Raymond A. Zwick passed away in 2005.

Born in Jerome, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Thomas - Telenko. She was a graduate of 1951 Conemaugh Township High School and earned her nursing certificate from Lackawanna County Vo-Tech. Prior to retirment, she was an LPN at Mercy Hospital in Scranton, Pa. She was a member of St. Anne Parish in Davidsville, Pa.

Sara was an avid traveler and spent many years traveling the world with her niece Janice Baer along with other friends.

Survivng are her daughter Cindy Donovan and her husband Mike of Scranton, Pa; sons Raymond Zwick and his wife Nancy of Hollsopple, Pa, and Kevin Zwick and his wife Colleen of Clarks Summit, Pa; a brother Thomas Telenko of Jerome, Pa; grandchildren Laurie and Andrew Donovan, Brianne McCurely, Justin Zwick Julia and Brendon Zwick; great-granchildren James and Sally Donovan; Emereson and Gracen McCurley; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sisters Alice Christie and Margaret Dill; brothers Dan, Robert,Steve, Frank, Jim and Ron Telenko.
