Scott R. Catania

Scott R. Catania died Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Catania.

Born in Honesdale, son of Charles and Suzanne Catania of Olyphant, was a graduate of Western Wayne High School and had been employed as a CDL-A driver by Swift Transportation.

He loves his children dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed reading, quadding, fishing, and operating heavy equipment. He was a man of many talents.

Also surviving are a daughter Emily, and sons Anthony and Christian all at home; a sister Olivia Jacob; brothers Charles, Jr., John, and Joshua; and Aunt Christine Peter and Uncle Joseph Peter; cousins Jeremiah Peter and Zechariah Peter; nieces and nephews Holland and Mila Jacob, Miranda Catania, and John Mason Catania, and Lilly Catania.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5:30pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd.

Friends may call Wednesday from 3:30-5:30pm.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
