Suzanne Phelan

Suzanne Phelan, 63, of Lake Ariel, passed away Saturday at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she is the daughter of Joan (Rosso) DosSantos of Long Island, NY, and the late John Phelan. She was a graduate of Elwood – John Glenn High School. Prior to her illness, she worked as an LPN in Huntington Hospital in Huntington, NY, and Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

She took great pride in her children and was always proud to be their mother. But her greatest joy was being “Nonna” to her grandchildren.

Also surviving are her son Michael Clark and his fiance Makayla Croney of Greentown, daughters Allison Clark of Lake Ariel and Lauren Brooks and her husband Dakota of Lake Ariel; sisters Donna Adams of NC, Diane Wilbur of Long Island, NY, and Lisa DosSantos of Long Island, NY; a brother John Phelan of Long Island, NY.; grandchildren Miller, Clayton, Caroline, and Samantha; many nieces and nephews. Along with her faithful companions Bella and Lola.

She was greeted in heaven by her father John Phelan, step-Father Bob DosSantos, nephew Danny Wilbur, cousin Holly Phelan, dear family friend Matt Sorenson and many beloved family dogs.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM and Friday, April 25, 2025 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
