Tamera (Tammy) L. Costanzo Zeiler

Tamera “Tammy” L. (Zeiler) Costanzo, 60, Lake Ariel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on July 21, 2017. Recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Tammy remained positive, courageous, and full of life.

She was born in Lake Ariel, Pa., daughter of Dolores Frisbie Zeiler of Lake Ariel and the late Theodore “Ted” Zeiler. Tammy graduated Western Wayne HS class of ‘75 and Career Technology Center class of 2001. She is a former employee of Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center (Lake Ariel, PA) and Space Age Plastics Inc. (Jefferson Twp.,PA) Prior to her illness, she had been a dedicated employee as an LPN at SCI @ Waymart. She volunteered as an EMT with Jefferson Twp. Volunteer Ambulance for many years.  Tammy enjoyed gardening, trap shooting, dancing, and relaxing on her beautiful property.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Tammy was an inspiration, not only to her family, but to her friends and co-workers.  She had an amazing and empathetic personality that was contagious to many, and a laugh that would bring a smile to anyone.  Tammy was never one to put herself first, but would be the first one to be there for anyone, even if it was just to listen.  Tammy was a loving mother, a guide and a true friend.

Surviving are daughter, Tracey O’Neill and her husband Mark of Lansdale; a son, Joseph T. Costanzo and his companion Stacy Costello of Jefferson Twp.; and daughter,Carly DeAnt onio and her husband Nicholas of Lake Ariel;a sister Treva McHugh and her companion Chick Reeves, Lake Ariel; brothers Theodore Zeiler and his wife Ann of Lake Ariel, Timothy Zeiler and his wife Tamara of VA, Terry Zeiler of Lake Ariel, and Troy Zeiler and his wife Lorrie Ann of Lake Ariel; grandchildren Mitchell and Elliott O’Neill and Ava DeAntonio; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a niece Bobbi McHugh.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Friends may visit Wednesday, July 26 from 4:00 – 7:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.
