Theresa Wargo Stefanski

Theresa Wargo, Hamlin, passed away Wednesday morning in the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center after an illness.   She was the widow of Edward J. Wargo.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Michalena Stefanski.   She was educated in Dickson City Catholic Schools.   Theresa was a member of the St Thomas    More – St Mary’s Parish Community.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Weis Supermarket and Shaffer’s Hardware.

Surviving are her daughter Michelene “Micki” Lee and her husband David of Sterling; her son Stephen Wargo and his wife Jennifer of Hamlin;  grandchildren Bridget Northrop, Jonathan Wargo, Carlie Wargo and Joshua Wargo.

She was preceded in death by her sons Kenneth who died December 25, 2013 and Edward who died December 17, 2015;  brother Frank; sisters Irene, Tessie, Romaine ad Stefie.

A joint blessing service for Theresa and her son Edward will be held Saturday January 23 rd at Noon in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy.

Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:30am until time of the blessing service.

Interment, All Saints Cemetery, Hollisterville.
