Thomas Lisowski

Thomas Lisowski of Lake Ariel, passed away Sunday, October 15 at Regional Hospital of Scranton surrounded by his loving children.  He joined his wife of 35 years, Sharon Lisowski in heaven.

Born in Newark, NJ, raised in Avoca, Pa.  He was the son of the late Edward and Josephine Lisowski. Thomas, ‘The Giz’ graduated Avoca High School.  Prior to retirement he was the owner of T.S. Carpet and a United States Army veteran.

Tom loved life. “Keep it Simple” & “ Keep it Positive” were his mottos.  When he wasn’t acting as the best Grandpops and father in the world, he was off gallivanting with his best friends, hunting or working on his workout regimen.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, getting “busched” and kicking back with those he loved most.

Survived by his daughters Tina Frey (East Greenville, Pa) and Cheryl Lisowski (Portland, Or), son-in-law Richard Frey, grandson Wyatt Frey and his nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Edward Lis and Robert LisowskI.
