Thomas J. Morgan, 94, of Scranton passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Tucker, as he was affectionately known, is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joan Morgan, his children, Thomas Jr and Mary Ellen Sabatella (Mark), grandchildren Amanda and Matthew Sabatella as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Bert and Mary Gilvary Morgan. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Bert Morgan, his sister, Elizabeth Gambo, and his nephew Bert Morgan.

Tucker was a graduate of St. Ann's High School Class of 1950. He dedicated 42 years of his career working for the Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer with DL & W, Erie Lackawanna and Conrail. He was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Tucker was an avid golfer and a member of Summit Hills Golf League. He loved traveling with friends and family and especially enjoyed taking cruises. He was a long time member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and most recently Immaculate Conception Church

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to their neighbors for all of their help and kindness and a special thank you to Barbara.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.

A private interment will be held at Cathedral Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tucker's memory may be made to The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania, 115 Meadow Ave. Scranton, Pa 18505
