Vicki Kaminski, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, formerly of Garfield, New Jersey died Sunday afternoon in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after a long illness. She was the wife of Bob Kaminski.
Born 1971 in Garfield, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late James and Caroline Popewczak Smith. Vicki was a graduate of Garfield High School, Edward William College and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson College. She also received extensive EMT training. Vicki was also a licensed physical therapist. She had been a member at the Garfield Volunteer Ambulance Company and employed for 21 years at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center as a patient care technician. She was a member of the Ledgedale Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the New Jersey Metro Fire Photography Assoc . She was of the Episcopal faith.
Also surviving are two sons Bobby and James, both at home; her aunt and uncle Fran and Chris Biviano; mother in law Rosemary Kaminski; a sister in law Gayle Pizzani; countless family friends.
She was also preceded in death by her father in law Michael Kaminski.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with Rev. Ronald R. Miller., Ph.D. priest – in – Charge of the St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7pm.
Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ledgedale.
