Virginia Ginger Mclain Lukeski

Virginia “Ginger” McLain, 64, of Jefferson Twp., died in the company of her husband of 40 years, Robert C. Silfee, Sr., daughter Bobbi Ann Silfee and brother Michael A. Lukeski on Wednesday evening at Regional Hospital of Scranton following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Clarence “Luke” and the former Virginia “Ginny” Ellsworth Lukeski. She grew up in Hamlin and was a 1971 Graduate of Lake Township High School. Prior to retirement she ran her family business, The Hamlin Hotel “Luke’s”.

Also surviving are daughters Ali Ann “Christal” Crean and her husband David of San Diego, CA and Bobbi Ann Silfee of Jefferson Twp.; brothers Charles Lukeski and his wife Molly of Bloomsburg and Michael A. Lukeski of Lake Ariel; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday from 4 – 7pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Cremation to follow at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
